Firefighters battled an early-morning commercial fire Tuesday in Los Angeles' Pacoima neighborhood.
Los Angeles firefighters were called to the 13000 block of Desmond Street just after 3:30 a.m. and found fire through the roof of the one-story building.
Firefighters told OnScene TV that business the owner told crews that hazards chemicals were inside the burning building. Crews used a defensive attack.
Hazardous materials crews were called from the city and Los Angeles County.
The fire was knocked down in less than an hour.
